Resound Networks goes live on gaiia

Resound Networks, founded in 2015 and headquartered in Pampa, Texas, has grown into one of the most ambitious rural ISPs in the United States. Today they operate across eight states with a distributed team of employees, delivering fiber and fixed wireless services across thousands of square miles. As the company expands into new markets and accelerates subscriber growth, Resound migrated to gaiia as their unified OSS/BSS platform to modernize operations and support long-term scalability.

Why gaiia was the right fit for Resound

Resound’s aggressive buildout, backed by the FCC’s RDOF auction meant deploying fiber and fixed wireless in parallel, onboarding thousands of subscribers, and rolling out self-service options under tight deadlines. gaiia stood out by providing modern tools for:

  • Automated provisioning: gaiia integrates with Calix systems, Cambium QoE, InfoBlox for DHCP and IPAM, and NetBox for network documentation. Once a subscriber signs up, gaiia automatically generates the provisioning job, sends configuration to the correct CPE, and confirms activation. This automation shortens install times, improves accuracy, and removes manual provisioning steps.
  • Scalability for rapid growth: With plans to grow through new fiber builds and ISP acquisitions, Resound needed a platform capable of supporting rapid subscriber growth and multisite operations. gaiia’s automated workflows and real-time service orchestration provide the backbone Resound needs to expand efficiently.

A successful go-live in Pampa, Texas

During go-live week, gaiia’s customer success and technical teams worked onsite with Resound’s IT, engineering, and field operations teams. Together they validated migrated data, configured workflows, trained staff, and supported real-time provisioning for both fiber and fixed wireless customers.

Resound employees quickly adopted gaiia’s interfaces and workflows. Department-specific training sessions ensured the billing, field, engineering, and support teams were fully confident using the platform from day one.

“gaiia’s hands-on support has been exceptional. Their team flew in to Pampa to work with us throughout go-live week, ensuring that our field crews and back-office staff have the training and resources they need” said Tyson Curtis, CEO of Resound Networks.

Early operational improvements

Since going live, Resound has already seen meaningful gains across core operational areas. Automated provisioning through gaiia’s integrations with Calix, Cambium, and InfoBlox has reduced manual work and improved activation accuracy. Inventory teams now have clearer visibility into equipment across warehouses, towers, and field locations, making it easier to track device movement and reduce shrinkage.

Resound’s field operations team is coordinating installs and service calls more efficiently using gaiia’s workforce tools, supporting their goals of improving installation SLAs across new markets. With Snowflake powering real-time reporting, leadership teams now have a unified view of performance metrics, helping them make faster decisions as they expand.

These improvements are already supporting Resound’s fiber rollout strategy and strengthening their ability to scale efficiently.

Our go live went extremely well. The process was smooth, and we already see benefits from the automation and streamlined workflows. Our team is really excited about the new system. - Bryan Waldrip COO & Cofounder of Resound Networks
