We’re thrilled to announce the launch of gaiia’s Open API, a game-changer in the realm of telecommunications OSS/BSS solutions. This modern API, based on the GraphQL Relay specification used by industry giants like Shopify, GitHub, and Facebook, opens up limitless integration opportunities for ISPs.
What’s New with gaiia’s Open API?
Advanced Technology: Our API utilizes GraphQL, enabling more efficient data loading by allowing clients to specify exactly what data they need. This not only reduces network overhead but also speeds up application performances.
Flexible Key Management: Manage the lifecycle of API keys directly within the gaiia Admin module. Create keys with specific permissions tailored to different needs and roles, enhancing security and operational flexibility.
Enhanced Developer Experience: Developers authenticated to gaiia can now enjoy an embedded API playground in our documentation. This innovative feature allows developers to interact with real tenant data, significantly easing the learning curve and facilitating quicker integration setups.

As we roll out this powerful tool, we look forward to seeing how our partners leverage it to build more integrated and efficient technology ecosystems.
Billing Enhancements
Advanced Price Change - Allows ISPs to implement changes to product pricing based on specific criteria. For example, ISPs are able to update product prices for new customers without effecting any current customers.
Recurring Percentage Discount - Enables ISPs to apply discounts directly through the product catalog or subscriptions area of an account. These enhancements simplify the management of billing modifications and discounts, while also improving the clarity of invoices with a better breakdown of taxes and discounts, ensuring transparency and accuracy in customer billing.
New Integrations | Network
We're excited to introduce a series of strategic integrations designed to enhance the capabilities of our network management suite. These new integrations will empower ISPs to deliver superior service and manage network operations more effectively.
TP-Link TAUC - Our integration with TP-Link TAUC allows CSRs to efficiently manage TP-Link Wi-Fi devices directly within gaiia. This integration enables agents to:
Modify the Wi-Fi network name and password
Display public IP information
Visualize device performance and health statistics
FreeRADIUS - FreeRADIUS is one of the most trusted and secure RADIUS platforms in the industry. The gaiia integration facilitates robust authentication and management, ensuring a secure and reliable service for your subscribers.
Cambium QoE - Optimize the network experience for your subscribers by integrating gaiia with Cambium's Quality of Experience (QoE) platform. This allows ISPs to monitor and improve network performance, ensuring high-quality service delivery across the board.
CRM Improvements
Account Labels: Provides the ability to tag accounts either individually or in bulk. This feature allows for better account organization, easy filtering, and customer segmentation.
Custom Account Statuses: You are no longer limited to standard statuses like lead, pending, active, inactive, suspended, or canceled. This flexibility allows for a more nuanced approach to account management, tailored to the unique needs of your operations.
Work Order Tab on Accounts: For improved visibility and tracking, all work orders associated with a customer are now accessible directly from the account profile. This ensures that you can easily review and manage all customer-related tasks from a single pain.
Workforce Upgrades
Google Calendar Integration: Our workforce schedule now integrates directly with Google Calendar, enabling easy management and visibility of technician appointments.
Attach Photos to Work Orders: Field technicians can now attach photos directly to work orders. This feature allows for better documentation of the job site conditions, completed work, and any relevant issues, enhancing communication between field staff and back-office teams and aiding in quality control.
Client Portal | Passwordless Sign-In
gaiia’s White-label Client Portal is now enabled with a passwordless sign-in option! This new authentication method allows customers to log into their client portal by either:
SMS Verification Code - Customers can enter their phone number and confirm a code sent via text message.
Email - Customers can enter their email address and then proceed to click through a Magic Link.
This streamlines the login process for customers, removing the need to remember passwords and reducing the risk of password-related security breaches.
